Scope of Works
Freedom Constructions was engaged to complete a complex residentialrenovation involving significant structural works within a steep, restricted–access hillside environment. The project included extensive manualexcavation beneath the existing split–leveldwelling, engineeredunderpinning, reinforced concrete works, and the installation of an internalwaterproofing system where conventional methods were not feasible.
Construction was undertaken in a densely vegetated rainforest setting withsevere access limitations, requiring innovative solutions such as temporarystructural modifications, manual material handling, and line–pumpedconcrete placement. Close coordination with engineers and suppliersensured structural integrity and material performance.The completed works delivered a new butler’s pantry beneath the existinghome, a fully renovated kitchen, new lower–level flooring, a pool–accessibletoilet, and a custom outdoor barbecue area, significantly improving thefunctionality, flow, and usability of the residence
